Poland: Day 1

It was not the cheapest of transfers to Kraków Poland as my traveling buddy and I had to fly LOT Polish airline from Vilnius to Kraków. The cost was $374/person and I wouldn’t recommend traveling this way but we had time constraints.  We also stayed at Hotel Amadeus which again was too expensive at $160/night but right next to Rynek Glowney Old Town Kraków. As time was of the essence I splurged here. Hotel Amadeus was great with the most comfortable bed for my back than any bed I’ve slept in on my travels thus far but if you are going to spend that kind of money I would try the Hotel Wentzel as it is the only hotel that actually looks down on the square.  As it was after midnight when we arrived, we took a taxi straight to the hotel and cratered. You can afford to take taxis in Kraków. The poles didn’t try to rape me there like the cab companies have in the rest of Europe. (Same for Estonia by the way…you can cab it.)
